Oggi la rubrica Baby in Wonderland e quella dei miei interesting addresses va in trasferta. 

Una trasferta milanese, una breve ma intensa fuga da Bologna!!!

Giusto per cambiare un po' aria per proporvi qualcosa di nuovo!

Nana mi ha fatto conoscere Teo  un negozio per bambini molto molto carino. Un po' francese nel gusto. Lo si nota subito buttando un occhio alle fantasie sui muri e sui piccolissimi abiti! 

"Interamente dedicato ai bambini, Teo è il negozio di Roberta Aguzzi a Milano, in corso Concordia 9.

Situato in una zona elegante e tranquilla, lontana dal caos, ricorda un piccolo salotto parigino. Niente di troppo commerciale proprio come la scelta di tutto quello che si trova da Teo.

E’ stato creato senza l’aiuto di architetti ma con la passione di persone che hanno dato un pezzettino di cuore ad ogni mobile, ogni oggetto, ogni dettaglio interamente fatti a mano. Gli anni passati a Parigi hanno influenzato molto la scelta: Teo si sarebbe dedicato con  passione alla  tradizione con uno stile sobrio, mai  eccessivo.

Il “no logo” , insieme al “fatto a mano” sono il fil rouge della nostra offerta con una continua  ricerca di artigiani, piccoli laboratori italiani e stranieri fino ad arrivare a creazioni proprie di maglieria e di accessori per la cameretta con la possibilità di una personalizzazione totale.Sopra tutto grande passione per la semplicità."

La descrizione calza a pennello, parla di uno stile sobrio, elegante ma molto semplice lontano dalla massa e da tutto ciò che è commerciale.

Inoltre, Roberta, ci ha raccontato di essere il primo negozio a Milano ad offrire un servizio di noleggio della culla. 

Ora, so che molte di voi storceranno il naso,  io per prima vorrei una culla da conservare. Ma pensateci bene. Non è forse un servizio utile da offrire a chi magari di passaggio solo per qualche mese a Milano? O per chi solamente, non vuole comprare la culla ?

Per me è una cosa molto intelligente o per lo meno è una bella alternativa!

Emanuela is a friend. One day I stopped by to her store to meet her in person  and since then I visit her at least every week to say hello, to exchange ideas, or just for a coffee!

She has a very nice tiny shop in one of the oldest part of the center of Bologna, in the Jewish Ghetto.

Emanuela è un'amica. Un giorno sono passata dal suo negozio per conoscerla e da allora, almeno una volta a settimana, passo a salutarla,  a fare due chiacchere o semplicemente per un caffè!

To celebrate her brand new store on Etsy, I've decided to introduce you to her world made of fabrics, needles, yarn and many more.

Her name is Emanuela Paradiso (translate Paradise) and the store is in Via dell'Inferno (translate Hell), isn't it funny?

Per festeggiare il suo nuovo negozio Etsy, ho deciso di presentarvela, di farvi conoscere il suo mondo fatto di aghi, tessuti, fili e tanto altro!

Si chiama Emanuela Paradiso e il negozio è in via dell'Inferno...Non è una buffa coincidenza?

Confezioni Paradiso is her store and her blog too! 

She's a young designer and she lives in Bologna even is she's from Savona. 

She moved here to study at the University, then she decided to remain and with help of her architect boyfriend she opened her store where she create beautiful things.

Confezioni Paradiso è il suo negozio ed anche il suo blog.

E' una giovane designer che vive a Bologna pur essendo di Savona.

Si è trasferita qui per studiare all'università, pi ha deciso di fermarsi anche dopo la laurea e con l'aiuto del suo fidanzato architetto, ha aperto il suo negozietto dove crea oggetti meravigliosi.

 "I make everyday objects especially for the home. I also designed and produced accessories, fabrics and jewelry. I like the colors, but I prefer to use natural colors, black and red. I love the stripes and checkered and I like to associate antique textiles modern designs.

I like simple shapes and traditional and I think the details are what is most important", she say about herself.

"Creo oggetti per la vita di tutti i giorni ed in modo particolare per la casa.  Disegno e produco acessori, tessuti e gioielli. Mi piaccioni i colori, anche se preferisco i colori naturali, il nero ed il rosso.  Amo le righe e i quadretti e mi piace mischiare vecchi tessuti con design moderni. Mi piacciono le forme semplici e sono convinta che i dettagli facciano la differenza.", dice di se.

She design and create her own masks to print her fabrics that she use to produce pillows, dishcloths, bags, pouches and everything you need!

Disegna e crea "maschere" per stampare e produrre i tessuti che utilizza per fare i cuscini, canovacci, borse e tutto quello che desiderate!

She loves to nose around antique marquets to find unique things .

Ama andare per mercatini per cercare oggetti unici.

What I love the most are the kids shape she reproduce on pillows, aprons, school bags...

I've just come across this funny website.

Letterbox&Co is an online concept store & design house.

Maybe not too cute, magic and without frills but they have things I always look for: tags, notebook, stationery...!

Mi sono appena imbattuta in questo sito web.

Letterbox&Co è un negozio online. Forse non avranno cose troppo attraenti, "magiche" e senza fronzoli ma hanno le cose che cerco da sempre: etichette, quaderni, carta da lettere...

I've already told you about some of my favs stores in Bologna (here), this time I want to show you a different store.

I've found that workshop already few months ago because it's just next door to my favorite Indian Restaurant and to Emanuela's shop, but I've never had the chance to get inside. 

I was fascinated from what I saw from the windows. Old frames, wooden chandeliers, antique crowns...

Then when I've organised the housewarming , Federica gave me a fantastic poster for my home. Now I could enter that door and  ask for my frame!

Actually, at the begin I wanted an old one, a gold and antique that I saw by the windows but it was too expensive.

The workshop at the inside it's a totally mess. Wood and sawdust everywhere and a costant smell of the glue and of the paints. 

The lady that own the shop, told me that she wants to sell the shop because she's tired, because of the economic crise and because of the shop it's not in one of the popular street, the job has decreased a lot!

I'm so sad when I hear such things. A lot of antique stores closed and will close to make room for famous commercial chains and all of those cute shops will disappear. 

I think that a city like Bologna, with the oldest University in the world, should do something to help those workshops to surive. They are the strenght of a city. They are what makes the difference. 

Inside I've found so many beautiful things that you can't find anywhere else. This is one of the place where I'd love to take my friends that come to visit me.

The lady helped me found the perfect frame for my poster...

Here it is! It's just perfect for my living room. The color, the frame the quote...

I've already introduced you (HERE) to that fantastic store, but it was at the beginning of my blog experience when you didn't know me yet ... Unfortunately!

 "Camera con Vista" is an amazing store just few steps from where I live. Camilla, her sister Rebecca with her boyfriend Matteo run two of the most beautiful store of the city and they've also opened a store in Martina Franca, in Puglia!

They have a unique style and they sell uncommon things, clothes, accessories and home decors. Their windows are always amazing, look what they have done for the past Christmas ...

They sell new and old home decors, fabrics, they do interior design consultancy, they organize all kind of events and they rent for event the things you see in the store!

Isnìt it amazing!!!???

Camilla just get married and last week the store was full of her wedding details...

I adore the ears of wheats, I think it's a valid alternative for summer weddings!
