The 1st of May is Labour Day: we celebrate the workers and here in France it's also la Fête du muguet.

Domani 1 Maggio è la festa di tutti i lavoratori e qui in Francia anche la Festa del Mughetto.

The tradition is to give the ones you love a little bouquet of lily-of-the-valley, for good luck and to celebrate the arrival of spring.
La tradizione vuole che venga offerto a chi amiamo un mazzolino di mughetti come simbolo porta fortuna e per celebrare l'arrivo della primavera.

Lily-of-the-valley is one of my fav flowers becuse of his delicacy and
the intense parfum ...
Il suo profumo intenso ed il suo aspetto così delicato e fragile sono i motivi per cui amo questo fiore ...

1) Go to the beach...

... and if it's an empty beach and you are all alone it's just perfect! Feeling like Robinson Crusoe...

2) Bake a good cake with fresh fruits ...

made with love for your family...served with vanilla ice cream!





3) take a lot of pics...

4) meet a new friend and her fantastic family... Irene from Valdirose!

She likes yellow, she likes to talk, she likes beautiful things, she has a wonderful princess Beatrice and an amazing husband Paolo...

5) buy new linens without a reason (still don't know what to do with it!)...

I had such a great week... I don't know if the ingredients will work for everybody but I can say the worked for me... and I've "made" a great weekend!

Because WE make our own happiness....

I'd like to have a beach house where to escape and to take refuge from the noise, the traffic ... Don't you?
I like white fabrics mixed with some bright colors. Big windows to let the sun coming inside the rooms and make your days warmer...
I keep dreaming....

One of my dream ( I know that maybe I have too many dreams) is to have an house near the beach. I love sea and I like the idea to wake up in the morning take a look outside the windows and watch the sea or after a difficult day at work go back home and drink a glass of wine sitting in the porch looking at the sunset...

What else will I need?
