The 1st of May is Labour Day: we celebrate the workers and here in France it's also la Fête du muguet.

Domani 1 Maggio è la festa di tutti i lavoratori e qui in Francia anche la Festa del Mughetto.

The tradition is to give the ones you love a little bouquet of lily-of-the-valley, for good luck and to celebrate the arrival of spring.
La tradizione vuole che venga offerto a chi amiamo un mazzolino di mughetti come simbolo porta fortuna e per celebrare l'arrivo della primavera.

Lily-of-the-valley is one of my fav flowers becuse of his delicacy and
the intense parfum ...
Il suo profumo intenso ed il suo aspetto così delicato e fragile sono i motivi per cui amo questo fiore ...

Ho deciso di partire,

ho preso due giorni di riposo dal lavoro e da tutto

devo staccare la spina e cercare di ricominciare 

e stare ben o almeno meglio

Quello che è successo nelle ultime settimane mi ha svuotata

la vita è bella, si bellissima

ma altrettanto difficile e dura

è incredibile 

ancora non ci credo

Parto, qualche giorno in Francia a casa 

perchè la sento casa

Mi amava colorata

ed è così che torno ad essere

perchè lei era colorata come me...

I need to unwind for few days

Those last weeks have been so tough

life is beautiful , oh yes it's really beautiful but at the same time it's so 

unbelievable and unpredictable

I still do not believe at what happened...

I'm living 

few days in France

at home

She loved me in colors

and I get back to colors

because she was "colored" as me...

This is my luggage...or at least a part of it!

C'è qualcosa di meglio?

Enjoy homemade bread and jams drinking a coffe kissed  by the sun of the morning.

The simple things that I love and that I look for every time I travel.

I can say that I know Nice very well and this is my place to visit every monday morning.

Gustarsi il pane e le marmellate fatte in casa bevendo caffè baciati dal sole del mattino.

Le cose semplici che amo e che cerco ogni volta che viaggio.

Posso dire di conoscere Nizza bene e questo è uno di quei posti ogni lunedì mattina.

Ho un'mica carissima che pagherebbe per avere una colazione come questa direttamente a casa sua...

The market , early in the morning, offers fantastic bargains.

I saw that china vase but a french woman arrived before me and she bought it for 10€.

Someone trow it away just because it was " broken"...

How can you do it?

La mattina presto si fanno i migliori affari.

Avevo adocchiato questo vado di porcellana ma una signora francese se lo è aggiudicato per 10€.

I proprietari lo avevano dato via solo perchè aveva una crepa!

come si può fare una cosa così brutta?

 Those towels are very fashionable now and too expensive, but I still like them.

I've used them to make pillows for my sofa.

Questo canovacci sono troppo di moda in questo momento, ma continuano a piacermi tantissimo tant'è che ne ho fatto dei cuscini per il mio divano!

and this is hour last loot! I can't tell you how much we paid...unbelievable!

e questo è il nostro ultimo bottino! Non vi dirò quanto li abbiamo pagati...non mi credereste!!!

La Cote d'Azur c'est fantastique

I love everything about it, the weather, the sun, the sea, the palaces, the markets, the people, the croissants.

I love the "allure" of the French woman. I love that "je ne sais quoi"

that from young age french women show in every single details and moment of the day.

I love the colors, the light, the breeze and  the flavours

We stayed at "la petite maison" and we spent the days at the beach and travelling on the coast by train.

We enjoyed the "joye de vivre" and " la belle vie"

They really know how to enjoy life.

Thinking to holidays and I'm so glad to show you my family's home in Nice.

Come iniziare una nuova settimana?

Pensando alle vacanze e sono felice di mostrarvi la nostra casa di famiglia a Nizza.

Guess what?

We decided to give it for rent when we can't go to Nice!

E pensate...

Abbiamo deciso di darla in affitto per quei periodi in cui noi non possiamo andare a Nizza!

Have you ever been to Nice?

I love that city and I adore our home situated a walking distance to the beach and to all the main attractions that the city can offer.

You'll park the car and you'll just need a comfortable pair of shoes!

Siete mai stati a Nizza?

Amo tantissimo questa città e adoro la nostra casetta che si trova a 5 minuti dalla spiaggia e da tutte le attrazioni che questa città sa offrire. 

Parcheggerete la macchina e ciò di cui avrete bisogno sarà solamente un buon paio di scarpe!

Totally decorated from us, last year we made a lot of works to transform the house in what it is now.

At the beginning, it wasn't like this. We transformed in an open space with just one separated room. The house can accommodate 3 adults!

Interamente arredata e decorata da noi, la casa ha subito una totale trasformazione. 

L'anno scorso abbiamo fatto tantissimi lavori (strutturali e non) per trasformarla in quello che è adesso (vi risparmio le foto di come era !)

Non era così quando siamo entrati la prima volta, abbiamo abbattuto dei muri e abbiamo creato un open space dove tutto è a vista e con a sola camera separata da tutto il resto.

La casa può ospitare fino a 4 adulti.

This is the living room. As you can see, we used a neutral color palette. We bought some of the furnitures at Ikea , some other at the antique market and some comes directly from my mom's house.  

Questa è la sala. Come potete vedere abbiamo utilizzato una palette colori molto neutra. I mobili sono stati acquistati alcuni all'Ikea (Santa subito!), altri al mercatino dell'antiquariato e altri ancora arrivano direttamente dalla casa di mia mamma.

My last purchase: glasses! ( I sell them!)
